This year’s edition of the European Conferences of the Econometrics Community (EC^2) is
hosted by CREATES, Aarhus University, on Dec 10 and 11.
The theme of the conference is: “Econometrics of Climate, Energy, and Resources” and papers on these topics will be given priority for the main program. We plan for an in-person on-site conference (with the possibility to join online if preferred). We will fall back to an online format should the dynamic situation cross these plans.
We invite submissions of papers for presentation at the conference by Oct 1, 2021 at the email address:
2021.ec2@econ.au.dk. We will notify presenters of acceptance by Oct 22, 2021.
In order to help us resolve some of the higher-than-normal uncertainty, please state in your email whether you plan to attend in person if accepted, and whether you would participate in the conference dinner on Dec 10.
Concurrent with the conference, Energy Economics will be inviting submissions to a special issue on the same topic.
We look forward to welcoming you to Aarhus in December!
Frank Kleibergen: EC^2 Director
Eric Hillebrand: Local Organiser
Richard S.J. Tol: Program Chair
